Kayak Adventures & Lazar Popovski

Discover the beauty of Macedonian lakes and rivers and learn a few tips from a four time Olympian.

Individual training’s, basic and advanced kayak courses, one-day trips, team building workshops, kayak and SUP rental.

Lazar Popovski is well known Macedonian whitewater kayaker competing at four editions of Olympic Games in Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney and Athens.

Lazar manages the Kayak Adventures, a subsidiary of the family owned company offering kayak training, trips as well as other outdoor activities.

Kayak Adventures is located on the bank of river Treska, 800m from the Matka Canoe slalom course – home of Macedonian Kayaking and 1,5km from the lake Matka.

The Underwater Cave

The underwater cave is available for diving, but you must have a certificate for cave diving (not just for open water) and you would need to work through the local cave diving club. Kire Angeleski is the man to contact. For more details hit the ‘Learn More’ button below. In the winter Kire organizes ski trips and lessons in Mavrovo. The facilities used to launch the proper cave dives are very basic, but the food and surroundings heavenly!
